Our Services

Private Duty Nursing

The first few days after surgery are critical for proper and effective healing to achieve outstanding outcomes. Quality rest, comfort and proper nutrition are just a few key elements of healing after surgery. Individualized concierge nursing care is available to you at home or in your hotel. While I specialize in recovering plastic surgery patients, I am available to help with any surgical recovery. Wherever you choose to heal, let me take the stress out of healing while you enjoy the benefits of personalized nursing care.

Drain Care

During surgery, your doctor may place one or more drains directly into your body. This drain removes the extra fluid your body makes when you have surgery. Removing the extra fluid helps reduce your risk of infection and speeds up healing. Your body will drain the largest amounts of fluid the first few days after surgery and then the amount will slowly lessen. The drain will be in place for one to two weeks or longer this is decided by your surgery team.

Transportation

After your surgery, a caregiver can be waiting for you with private transportation or you have the option to have me bring you to your choice of recovery locations.

Wound Care

At Ravishing Reflection strive for the best possible outcomes, our goals for at home wound care include:

  • Patient comfort and overall health

  • Changing dressings as needed

  • Preventing infection

  • Improving healing time

  • Education to maximize results

Medication Management

Managing medications can be a complex and potentially risky task, especially for patients with multiple prescriptions. Private duty nurses play a crucial role in medication management by keeping you on a proper medication schedule and providing medication reminders to patients.

This meticulous approach helps prevent medication errors such as missed doses or incorrect administration, ensuring that patients receive the right medications at the right time.

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy may be a beneficial treatment for helping a surgery patient heal. It can reduce swelling and inflammation, accelerate healing, reduce pain, and improve the appearance of scarring.

Common Questions

  • The duration of the post-operative care provided by a nurse is based on your specific requirements and needs. A personalized care plan, which may include regular assessments, wound management, and other recovery-related activities, will be created by me, just for you. I will continue to support you until as long as you decide you need me. My packages are tailored to each individual need.

  • I am not associated with any one surgeon. I recover patients for many different surgeons. I am an Independent Registered Nurse that is hired directly by clients.

  • Call 513-678-7991 or click CONTACT US and schedule your FREE consultation today.

  • Unfortunately, we don’t accept insurance. All plans must be paid using Cash, Credit Card or Cherry.

  • Depending on the type of surgery and needs of the patient, I am usually hired for 1-3 days and more if needed. I will tailor a plan just for you.

  • Yes! This is a wonderful way to recover and great for my patients to have a friend or family member to recover with.

  • If I am needed on a 24 hr basis we would discuss this in more detail during your free consultation.

  • I cover all my travel expenses and bring my own food.

  • My policy mirrors most plastic surgeons cancellation policies.

I require a 50% deposit to hold your spot on my calendar. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your surgery. The full cancellation policy is included in my service contract.

  • Our contract begins, and my fee starts, when I meet you face to face. This happens when your surgeons nurse feels you are safe to go home. At that time I become your advocate and assume your care. I will do my best to be flexible and want you to get the most of our time together.

  • Nutrition is critical to the healing process. I recommend foods that are easily digested and packed with protein and essential nutrients. Having your body in optimal healing status before surgery will help you in your recovery and healing process. Some examples of the foods I recommend, pre- and post-surgery, are nutrient-rich soups, oatmeal, yogurt with probiotics, fruits, avocados, hard-boiled eggs, lean proteins, whole grain options, protein-rich pancakes or waffles with nut butter, chicken or tuna salad, crackers, and clear sodas. I can even help with small meal/snack prep.

*(please remember that if you have a facelift you are going to want soft foods that are easy to chew)

  • Usually, Yes. I drive you home after surgery and to and from your post op appointment if it falls within our contracted time together. I will on occasion drive a client to the surgery as well if this is needed.

  • I do not have an “a la carte” menu of what I do for my clients. I take care of whatever you need. Most importantly, I manage dressings, medications, drains, nutrition and the overall well-being of you. Once I am confident these things are taken care of, I handle anything you need. Showering, toileting, massage, errands, food prep and anything that will create space for you to just rest and heal.
